Mr. Day was born and raised in Murray, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1964 with a B.S. in Political Science, and later earned his law degree from the University of Utah in 1967. Mr. Day has had an active and varied practice since then, but he currently concentrates in the areas of real estate, corporations and business services (including securities), probate and estate planning, personal injury and contracts.

 Mr. Day has appeared before all state and federal courts in Utah, as well as before various administrative agencies. He has also served on the Draper Town Board and was elected to the first Draper City Council.
